Bobby was born to Truman Lane and Evelyn Bearden Lane on July 27, 1952. Bobby was a kind and gentle soul with an impeccable memory for dates and history. He loved people and enjoyed making his daily rounds in Childress to socialize with his many friends. He was one of the Texas Rangers biggest fans. Bobby was an avid bingo player in Altus where he aquired the nickname "Bingo Bobby Ray".
He was preceded in death by his parents.
