Excerpts from the diary of son-in-law, Oliver Morton Wallen:
"Sep. 10, [1904]...We [Oliver and brother Jess] got sawed stones at Langford at the Freestone quary to go to Mamma, Mary, Luesa, and Lucy's graves and two for Sarah's father and mother."
"Oct 29, 1904.......We put stones to Sarah's father and mother's graves. I furnished the stones..."
The new stone at the base of the original was provided by Larry and Kathy Martin. Larry is the great grandson of Ursula's brother James.
