Peter Dykhuis died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dykhuis on West First street on Tuesday morning at 12 a.m. at the age of 26 years, 2 months and 25 days.
Those left to mourn the sad loss of a loving son and brother are a father, mother, wife, two brothers and one sister all of this vicinity.
The young man had served his country during the world war and it was from a disease contracted in the army that caused his death, namely influenza.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at th home and at 1:30 p.m. at the Third Reformed church Rev. Hankamp officiating. Interment at Oakwood cemetery.
