Death of Mrs. I. N. Woods, of
Woodburn.

Died, at Woodburn, Iowa, February 7, 1899, Augusta A. Woods, aged fifty-eight years. Deceased was born in Brown county, Ohio; came to Iowa with her parents in 1853, settled on a farm in Lucas county, where deceased grew to womanhood. In 1869 she was married to I. N. Woods, who with five sons and one daughter, survive her. She united with the M. E. church over twenty years ago, and remained a faithful Christian until death. Her faith in Christ as her savior wavered not in her last moments and she spoke of her departure with perfect reconciliation, realizing that is was well with her soul. She selected the words of scripture to be used as text, Weep not for me, after which she fell asleep in peace. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Larrick at the M. E. church at one o'clock, February 9th, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Woodburn cemetery.

Mrs. I. N. Woods, of whose sickness mention was made in a former letter, died Tuesday at 11:30 A. M. Funeral services will be held Thursday of this week at the M. E. church, and conducted by Rev. Larrick. The remains will be buried in Woodburn cemetery. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all.

Chariton Democrat: Mrs. I. N. Woods died at Woodburn Tuesday night of cancer of the breast and pneumonia. She was a sister to Messrs. Henry and Lafayette Miller and Mrs. Ben Dora of Warren township.
