She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Shelbyville, a member of the last graduating class of Anchorage High School and attended Union College.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Dorothy Feigel Rudy; husband of 51 years, Frank Nation; daughter, Sherry Bond; and sister, Tommie Brumett.
She was survived by her daughter, Cheryl Anne Manning (Jeff) of Glasgow; granddaughters, Adriane Myers of Shelbyville and Abby Manning of Glasgow; great granddaughter, Beckah Myers of Shelbyville; and sister, June Davis of Louisville.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial is at Grove Hill Cemetery.
