Joyce K. Paul, 86, of Hannibal, passed away on Wednesday, August 27 at Oswego Hospital. A native of Westmoreland, she lived in the Hannibal area most of her life. Joyce retired as a secretary after 25 years with the Hannibal Central School District and had previously worked for Gold Dome Bank in Utica. Joyce was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Hannibal. She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Plante in 1975. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Robert "Jack" Paul of Hannibal; two daughters, Susan (Edward) Wood of Hannibal and Patricia (Donald) Bucher of Oswego; five grandchildren, Edward (Lisa) Wood Jr., Angela (Robert) Summerville, Cynthia (Mark) Dixon, Andrew (Sarah Cooley) Bucher and Matthew (Jessica Czajkowski) Bucher; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald Marsh; a sister, Patricia Sahl and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 29 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 30 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Cayuga Street in Hannibal. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Fulton.
