TAUNTON – Patricia E. Wynn, longtime Taunton resident, died unexpectedly at her Taunton home on Aug. 23, 2014. She was 82. Born in Mansfield, Patricia was the daughter of the late Edward and Leola (Hebard) Wynn. Raised and educated in Mansfield, she was a 1949 graduate of Mansfield High School. She moved to the Taunton area many years ago. Employed by the Commonwealth of MA, she worked at the former Paul Dever School, and as a crisis counselor for Taunton State Hospital. Patricia volunteered at Taunton’s Marian Manor. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include three sons, Scott F. Prado of Manchester, NH, Paul A. Prado of Kingwood, TX, and Joseph P. Prado of Taunton; two daughters, Maria P. Price of Taunton; and Laurie A. Prado of New Bedford; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held privately. A funeral mass was held at St. Mary’s Church. Interment was at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are by the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton.
