CONNIE McKIBBEN-MEYER, 53, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Parkview Hospital. Born Feb. 19, 1955, in Fort Wayne, she was employed at Parkview Hospital for 15 years; and had previously been a teachers aid at Weisser Park and Franke park Elementary Schools for 10 years.

Surviving are her husband, Mark; daughters, Jamie, Shawna-Rae and Emma; father, Jerome McKibben Sr. of Fort Wayne; sister, Anita Doctor of Fort Wayne; and brothers, Dr. Jerome McKibben II of Rockhill, S.C. and Perry McKibben of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her mother, Delores McKibben; and brother, Shawn McKibben.

A Potluck dinner celebrating Connie's life begins at 6 p.m. Monday in Riverside Pavillion at Shoaff Park on St. Joe Road.

Visitation is from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Preferred memorials to Oncology Care of the Parkview Foundation.
