A native of Saluda, North Carolina, daughter of the late Franklin Rush and Leslie Kaziah Thompson, she was a homemaker and a member of Care Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Wall (Harry) of Duncan and Judy Bryant (Gene) of Greer; two sons, Rev. Eli “Sonny” Bright (Marie) of Moore and Marvin L. Bright, Jr. (Virginia) of Pauline; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Terry Pleasant and Rev. David Slatton. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 2:45-3:45 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of Brenda and Harry Wall.
