Elsie Mae West Tinsley, 78, passed away Wednesday 27, 2014 at Alpha Health and Rehab. She was the wife of Robert Earl “Bob” Tinsley for 60 years and the daughter of the late Harry George and Jesse Tollison West. Mrs. Tinsley was a member of Jackson Baptist Church, and retired from Springs Industries
Survivors also include two sisters, Alice Joann Benton of Duncan and Martha Acton of Spartanburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold West.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim McMakin officiating. Interment will follow at Wood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 P.M. prior to the service.
