Hazel Tisdale, 89, died August 23, 2014.
She was a deaconess and secretary for 50 years at True Vine Fire Baptized Holiness Church, Rev. Charles E. Beamer, Pastor. She was a retired educator in the Duval County Public School System for 23 years.
She is survived by: four sons and their wives, Ralph Lynwood (Diane), Roland Dwight (Ida), Richard K. Tisdale (Maria), Randall R. Tisdale (Kathy); six granddaughters, Monique L. Tisdale, Yolanda McClendon, Renee, Simone, Shaun, Stephanie Tisdale; nine grandsons, Russell, Jr. (Ebony), Rodney (Kenya), Warren, Marlyn (Angeletta), Richard II (Nikkida), Roland, Jr., Randall, Jr., Maurice, Ryan Tisdale; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Wilhelmina James (Joseph), Elizabeth Tisdale; brothers-in-law, Coolidge Tisdale (Elizabeth), Edward Tisdale (Elease); daughters-in-law; Marva Mitchell (Marvin), Janice Tisdale, Angelia Tisdale; along with many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
HOMEGOING SERVICE will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Southside C.O.G.I.C., 2179 Emerson Street, Bishop Edward Robinson, Pastor. The late Mrs. Tisdale will rest at True Vine Fire Baptized Holiness Church, 1439 Spearing Street., for visitation of friends on Friday, August 29th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and in the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until hour of service. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery by the EASTSIDE CHAPEL of MARION GRAHAM MORTUARIES, 900 A. Philip Randolph Blvd.
