She was a member of Veterans Club of America, enjoyed playing pool, crossword puzzles, fishing, spending time on the beach and loved to read.
She is survived by her husband, Dale of Ft. Myers, FL; 3 children: Neil Gutzmer, Eric Gutzmer and Michelle (Frank) Bissaillon, all of Monroe; 2 step-children, Kassandra and Allison Peterson both of Madison; siblings: Glenda (John) Heimann of Juda, Judy (Gordon) Grunder of Monroe, Richard Long of Warren, IL and Jeri (Derek) Bender of Cedarville, IL; 4 grandchildren: Ian Rothenbach, Tyler Pandow, Zachary Ringle, and Logan Bissaillon; father and mother-in-law, Everette and Doris Schultz of Brodhead.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Aaron Gutzmer; brothers, Steven and John Long.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th Ave., in Monroe.
