Whitney Gjertine Henderson is daughter of Keith Steven Henderson and Kathy Mae (Irwin) Edgington and the sister of Ashley Steven, Emily Elizabeth, Brittany Nikkoline and Ammon Bartlett Henderson. Whitney was the youngest child in our family and she was dearly loved and missed. She accomplish much in short amount time she here upon the earth. She started attending college when she was 16 years old and got her GED when she was 17 years old and received her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies when she was 18 years old. Whitney was beautiful young women who always had a job, her own car and bought her own clothes, makeup and etc... Whitney was employed with the Internal Revenue Service as Consumer Service Representative at the time of her death. Her death sent a shock wave their her department. No one could believe that she was gone. Whitney died at her brother, Ashley's home in Batavia while she was visiting him and his family. Whitney was still living at home with her mother, Kathy and step father, Jim Edgington in Connersville, Indiana. Whitney was baptized as member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.∼Whitney Gjertine, age 21 of Connersville, IN, returned home to our Heavenly Father in late afternoon of August 18, 2009. Cherished daughter of Kathy M. Edgington (Jim L. Edgington) and Keith S. Henderson. Beloved sister of Ashley S. Henderson (Casandra), Emily E., Brittany N., and Ammon B. Henderson. Dear granddaughter of Lee A. Irwin and the late Gracie Irwin and Ernest W. and Marjorie A. Henderson. Loving aunt of Katie Rufft, Alexander S., Ethan C. and Annabelle M. Henderson. She will be dearly missed by all family and friends. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Eastgate Ward), 700 Clough Pike from 9 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM.
