Former San Luis Obispo County resident Homer James Landrum, 85, of Purcell, Oklahoma, died Sunday, March 15, 1992, in Oklahoma.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 10am at Santa Margarita Cemetery.

Mr. Landrum was born Dec. 25, 1906 in Missouri & was raised in Oklahoma. He was a coal miner in Utah for 15 years. Prior to that, he was a farmer. He had lived on the Central Coast for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Landrum of Purcell, Oklahoma; five sons, Tom Landrum of Colorado, Wayne Landrum of San Luis Obispo, Carl Landrum of Fremont, Junior Landrum I of Oklahoma and Gene Landrum of Seattle, Wash.; three daughters, Iva Aldridge of Alameda, Betty Worley of Bishop and Ruth Landrum of Oklahoma City; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Landrum; two daughters, Darla Brown and Thelma Landrum; and a grandson, Junior Landrum II.

Arrangements are by Chapel of the Roses in Atascadero.
