Frances Daniel, 97, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014. She was born in Atlanta to Henry and Esther Schmid. After becoming a Christian at the age of 16, she joined First Alliance Church and has been an active member for 81 years. She's taught Sunday school, Children's Bible Clubs, Ladies Home Bible Studies and was a speaker for Christian Women's Clubs of America traveling all over the U.S. and several foreign countries speaking at ladies luncheons. Frances is proceeded in death by her husband of 68 years Henry Clay Daniel and a son Dick Daniel. She is survived by her daughter (Gail); son (Steve); sister Anne Wyatt; nine grandchildren; sixteen Great Grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Friday August 29th at 10:00 Am at First Alliance Church 2512 North Druid Hills Rd. Atlanta with Dr. Kevin Goins and Dr. Walter Sandell officiating; interment followed in Westview Cemetery.
