Major League Baseball Player. Primarily a second baseman, he began playing in 1914 with the Washington Senators. He played 13 games there in two years then went to the Philadelphia Athletics in 1916. He was a member of the 1918 National League champion Chicago Cubs that played the Boston Red Sox in the World Series. He appeared in all six games of the losing Series batting .389 with seven hits. He began the following season with Chicago and was traded to the Boston Braves to finish that season and play one more. In his six seasons, he batted .261 with 333 hits in 367 games.
