Glenn B. Pearson, 89, of Upper Saucon Twp., passed away in his home on October 31, 2016. He was the husband of Margaret U. (Diehl) Pearson and they celebrated over 70 years of marriage. Born in Center Valley, he was the son of the late Floyd and Freda (Beck) Pearson.
Glenn was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 39 years until retiring as Postmaster of the Wescosville Post Office. He was a member of Chestnut Hill Church, Coopersburg, where he was also a former Sunday School teacher. He was a member of the Coopersburg Masonic Lodge and a member and former treasurer of the Grundsow Lodge at Saucon Creek.
Survivors: wife; daughters, Patricia A. Snyder and her husband, Glenn, Peggy Pearson and her husband, Jose Burgos, Lt. Col. Pennie Hoofman and her husband, Randy; sisters, Jean Brown, Carole Gordon and her husband, Donald; grandsons, Gregory Snyder (Sandy), Peter Snyder (Danielle) and John Hoofman; great-granddaughter, Mylin Snyder.
Services: 1:30 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Chestnut Hill Church, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036. Calling hours will be held 6-8 PM Friday at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus, and 12:30-1:30 PM Saturday in the church.
