DEATH OF T. R. ORSER
Aged Citizen of Bryant Passes Away at Revelstoke, B. C.
T. R. Orser, an aged and respected citizen of Bryant, passed away at Revelstoke, B. C. Jan. 1, 1920, at the age of 85 years, one month and nine days. Death was due to the infirmities of old age.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 5th, from the M. E. church of this place, Rev. G. C. Squire preaching the sermon. there was a large attendance, particularly of Bryant friends, and the floral offerings ere unusually beautiful.
Interment took place in the local cemetery under direction of A. H. Moll the pallbearers being S. L. Erdal, Hans Nederlee, Thees Kackman, Luther Orr, William Mohler and W. A. Taylor. Thomas Rainsford Orser was born Nov. 22, 1833, in Carlton county. To this union was born 16 children, of whom 11 are still living. There are also thirty-three grandchildren.
In 1903 he came to Washington and settled at Bryant, where he resided until August, when he went to live with his son, Samuel, of Revelstoke, B. C., where he passed away January 1st, completing a useful and exemplary life.
