He had been employed by Jay's Sales and Serviced for 11 years, retiring in 1974. Prior to that, he had been employed for several years by the Rome Division of Revere Copper and Brass.
He was a Protestant. He served with the Army from 1928 to 1934. He was a former member of the Continental Fife and Drum Corp of Camden.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert and Fred Fowler, both of Blossvale, a sister, Miss Lillian Fowler of Brooklyn and two brothers, Herbert of Brooklyn and Charles Fowler of Stamford, Conn.
The funeral will be at 11 tomorrow from Sanborn Funeral Home, Camden. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg. Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight.
