Josephine Reagan, (Joanne) ,age 81, of Newport, passed away on the evening of August 25, 2014 at Newport health and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a long time resident.
Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Reagan; daughter, Georgenia Ragan of Gastonia, NC and her parents, Julius B. and Zulia E. (Panther) Hunt, of Lawndale, NC.
She is survived by her daughter and son–in-law, Tammy and Kenneth Hall; grandchildren, Laura White, Taylor Hall, Crystal sparks and Jason Sparks; great-grandchildren, Issak White and Madison Easler; brother and sister, J. W. Hunt and Pearlie Mae Hoyle.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the caregivers at Newport Health and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care that they provided.
