Melanie Jean ‘Jeani’ Hall
age 58 of Oneida,
Tennessee, went home
to be with her loved
ones on Sunday, August
24, 2014 at the Pioneer
Community Hospital of
Scott. She was born in Newcastle, Indiana
on May 29, 1956 to Dillard Frank and
Willie Marie Lawson Goad.
Jeani graduated from Chrysler High School
in1975. She was employed by Pizza Hut
for 37 years and she was the manager for
25 of those years at the Oneida location.
She was very active in the Oneida
community with the Muscular Dystrophy
Association, supported local law
enforcement, emergency services, fire
departments, and the Children’s Center of
the Cumberland. Jeani loved spending time
with her family and her many, many
friends, her cats and enjoying nature.
In addition to her mother she was
preceded in death by a brother Billy Joe
Goad; brothers–in-law Phillip Wickliff,
Jerry Back and nephew Braden Richard.
She is survived by a son Matthew and a
daughter Angel both of Oneida; her father
Dillard Goad; sisters Casteen Wickliff,
Virgie Bach; sister-in-law Violet Goad;
uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews
all of Indiana.
Friends may visit with the family on
Friday, August 29, 2014 from 5 pm until
the time of the funeral service at 8 pm at
Bethlehem Baptist church with Bro. Mike
Smithers officiating. Graveside service will
at 11 am on Saturday, August 30, 2014 in
the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dewey Witham, Gary
Bray, Zachary Bray, Lance Baker. Billy
Goad, and Kyle Ellis.
