On February 11, 1967 Lana married Lowell Hayes.
She was a secretary at Scott Air Force Base, The Pentagon in Washington, D.C., University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois and most recently worked with the Crawford County Senior Citizens. Lana attended the First Baptist Church in Oblong and she was a member of the Eagle Lodge #2549 in Olney, Illinois. Lana was a graduate of Newton Community High School Class of 1965. Lana loved her grandchildren, playing golf, and riding her bicycle.
Surviving Lana is her mother Wanita Wilson; two sons and daughter-in-law Anthony Hayes and Lonny & Melissa Hayes; one daughter and son-in-law Andrea & Randy Rich; seven grandchildren, Cory & Kristen Hayes, Randy, Kasey & Garrett Hayes, Ashley & Aireca Rich; one brother Lance Wilson.
Preceding Lana in death was her father.
Burial will be in the Yale Cemetery, Yale, Illinois.
