Mr. Johnson, 74, died Nov. 27. He was a native of Hancock County, but lived in Baldwin County. He was retired from the Central State Hospital Fire Department and owned a barber shop on the Vinson Highway. He was a member of the Zebulon Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Polly Batchelor Johnson, Milledgeville; two sons Mr. Billy Johnson, Mr. Charles Ray Johnson both of Milledgeville; one sister Mrs. Estelle Hamm, Orlando, Florida; three brothers, Mr. John Brown Johnson, Milledgeville, Mr. Woodrow Wilson Johnson, Milledgeville, Mr. Merritt Clayton "Rooster" Johnson Milledgeville, four grandchildren.
Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
