CLEAR FORK - Robert Carrol Conley, 41, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1984 in a Lewisburg hospital apparently of a heart attack.
Born June 3, 1943, in Baileysville, WV. He was a son of the late Sterling Silver Conley and Iva M. Cline Conley.
Mr. Conley was employed by Maple Meadows Mining Co., a member of the Clear Fork Church of God since 1972 and a lifelong resident of Wyoming County.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Lou Short Conley; two brothers, John W. Conley of Clear Fork and Douglas A. Conley of Brenton, WV.
Services will be Sunday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. in the Clear Fork Church of God with the Rev. Hannibal Blankenship Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Shannon Cemetery in Baileysville.
Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Evans and Evans Funeral Directors in Oceana and at the church one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers will be David Brown, Paul Ratliff, Harold and Toney Cline, Jackie Short and Rick Blankenship.
