She was born Dec., 14, 1929, in Dardanelle to Rudell and Lois (Hamlin) McConnell. Mary Lee loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Her calling in life was to serve others. She became a registered nurse and spent the rest of her life caring for friends and family.
She will be fondly remembered for her cooking including her homemade bread, cornbread, sugar-free desserts, pies and especially cheesecakes. She enjoyed knitting, giving away over 100 personalized Christmas stockings and many more dish cloths. She was a passionate genealogist and a founding member of the Dardanelle Rock Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved nothing better than to plan family reunions based on her genealogy research. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. "Bill" Grace Sr., and her brother Ruben McConnell. She is survived by her four children, Rebecca and husband Pat Riedmueller, Garrett Grace, Greg and wife Amy Grace and Jennifer and husband Kevin Henriksen; seven grandchildren and spouses, Ryan and Megan Grace, Spencer Grace, Sawyer and Grace Grace, Jessica Riedmueller, Daniel and Lindsey Riedmueller, Jared and Jayci Henriksen and Jamie and Donald Booker; and great-grandchildren, Weston, Kasyn, Kinsley, Ridge, Claire, Kate, EJ, Makai, Austin and Andyn; brother, Elbert; sisters, Betty Crow, Bonnie McCurdy and Katie and husband Witt Keys; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
