Edna McNeill - La Center, Ky, -Edna McNeill, 95, of LaCenter, died at Western Baptist Hospital at 11:05 p. m. Friday.
She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and the Hinkleville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She owned and operated McNeill's Grocery in Slater for over 60 years, until her retirement in 1985.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Newton of Detroit; one son, Richard Cummins of Tampa, Fla; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Jones Funeral Home in La Center at 2 p. m. today with the Rev. Robert Bickford officiating. Burial will be in the Barlow Cemetery.
