‎ ‎ ‎ HOMEDALE — Services for Mrs. Blanche Elizabeth Carson, 71, Homedale, who died Friday in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Bishop Walter Taggart will officiate. Interment will be at Marsing-Homedale under direction of Homedale's Flahiff Chapel.
‎ ‎ ‎ Mrs. Carson was born May 30, 1898, in Butte, Mont., and moved with her family to Providence, Utah, as a small child. They moved to Nampa when she was 11. She attended Happy Valley Grade School, south of Nampa, and Link's Business College in Boise. She worked in the St. Luke's Hospital office for a time. She was married Feb. 16, 1927, in Salt Lake City to Owen C. Carson, and they located in the Happy Valley community. They moved to Homedale in 1933, and then lived at Huntington, Ore., from 1957 to 1967. They were on an LDS mission in Southern California and Arizona for two years prior to last July, when they returned to Homedale. She was a member of the Homedale LDS Ward.
‎ ‎ ‎ Surviving in addition to Mr. Carson are four sons, Leon K. , Philip, and William D. Carson, all of Boise, and Richard C. Carson of Eugene, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ann Barberis of Chino, Calif., Mrs. Beth Louise Dunn of Pocatello, and Mrs. Carmen Olsen of Rialto, Calif.; a brother, M. H. Kloepfer of Twin Falls; a sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Edgley of Nampa; 18 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson.
