"POLAND – Rev. Joseph Zamary will conduct services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, for Raymond Clark Fitz-Patrick Jr., 65, who died Friday afternoon at the Hospice House. Mr. Fitz-Patrick was born Nov. 4, 1943, in Youngstown, a son of Raymond C. and Kathleen Campbell Fitz-Patrick Sr. A 1961 graduate of East High School, he was a truck driver and an instructor at TDDS. Ray was a former member of the Mahoning Valley Gaelic Society and a former member of Teamster Local 377.
Mr. Fitz-Patrick was a U.S. Navy veteran. His wife, the former Sue Sigle, whom he married Oct. 18, 1987, died August 1995. Besides his mother of Boardman, he leaves two sons, Michael Sean (Jaime) Fitz-Patrick of Struthers and T.J. Fitz-Patrick of Poland; two daughters, Kathleen (Diony) Aponte of Davenport, Iowa, and Jeanette (Michael) Schneider of North Lima; a brother, James M. (Delores) Fitz-Patrick of Gilbert, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren, Tabitha, Michael II, and Erin Fitz-Patrick, Eric, Dylan, Rachel and Samuel Aponte, Joshua Foutz, and Richard, Megan and Joseph Schneider. Besides his wife and father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Anne Fitz-Patrick, and a granddaughter, Erica Socha. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
