MURPHYSBORO -- Ina Mae Williams, 98, passed away at 9:28 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, in Murphysboro.

Ina Mae was born on Aug. 27, 1915, in Metropolis, daughter to the late Charles and Clara (Richardson) Grace.

She was united in marriage to Robert Edward Williams on June 14, 1937, in Metropolis.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Mary Jane Williams of Murphysboro; one grandson and his wife, Robert Kevin and Diane Williams of Murphysboro; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Maggie Williams of Murphysboro.

Robert preceded her in death in April 1986; one sister, Mary Edna Wiedeman; and one brother, Charles Grace.

Ina Mae along with her husband, Robert, was a co-owner of the D.C. Williams Jewelry Store in Albion for many years.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star both in Albion. She was an avid golfer and had once won the ladies championship in Mount Carmel.

Services will be at noon on Saturday, Aug. 30 in Graceland Cemetery in Albion, with he Revs. Larry Gilbert and Earl Renshaw officiating. There will be no visitation and those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery on Saturday. Memorials are encouraged and may be made to Celtic Hospice.
