Charles Austin Bledsoe, born in Holt County, Missouri, Feb. 1, 1874, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Vera Simmons of White Cloud, Kansas, on October 16, 1944.

Surviving besides Mrs. Simmons are two other sisters, Mrs. George Snider of Oregon, MO and Mrs. Lon Elder of Mound City; four brothers, William, Sam and Edward of Forest City and Henry of St. Joseph, MO.

Funeral services were held at the Forest City Christian Church yesterday afternoon, conducted by Albert Martin of St. Joseph. Interment was in the Forest City Cemetery.
