Beulah Elizabeth Ruple Robbins was born January 12, 1929 and took the hand of Jesus as He led her to her Heavenly home on August 21, 2014. She was born and raised in Homer, LA, where she graduated from Homer High School. She then moved to Shreveport, LA where she graduated from Business College and married her husband, Buster.

Beulah spent the bulk of her career working for the Graham family for more than 40 years. She worked with the late Frank Graham in real estate and loans, before going to work for Dr. Buddy Graham in his medical practice. She finished her long and successful career with Marshall Graham at his appraisal business. She loved her work and loved working for the Graham family.

Beulah was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Buster Robbins of Shreveport; her parents, James Byron and Inez Hollenshead Ruple, and her sister, Blanche Wayne Ruple, all of Homer, LA.

Beulah was a devout Christian and lived her life in service for the Lord Jesus Christ. She was raised in Ruple Baptist Church in Homer, LA. After moving to Shreveport, she was a long-time member of Trinity Heights Baptist Church, where she taught children’s Sunday School. She became affectionately known as “Boo Boo”, a name appropriately given to her by a child. Since that time, many children have grown into adulthood knowing and loving Boo Boo.

Boo Boo is survived by her daughter Kim Griffin Bogan and husband Randy of Shreveport, and her daughter Ginger Robbins Bolinger of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren Amber Myers Casiquin and husband Jerry of Pt. Hueneme, CA, Brock Myers and fiance’April Villarreal of Keithville, LA, Britian Myers of Shreveport, LA, Chandler Bolinger of Dallas, TX and Paris Bolinger of Dallas, TX; her great-grandchildren Dakota, Parker, and Lincoln Casiquin of Pt. Hueneme, CA, Kaine Allen of Shreveport, LA, and Lola Myers of Keithville, LA, as well as numerous cousins who were all precious to her.

A visitation will be held at Ruple Baptist Church in Homer, LA on August 25, 2014 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. A graveside service will be held afterwards at Lebanon Cemetery in Homer, LA at 11:00 am. The family would like to thank Dr. Wayne Barksdale and Hospice of Shreveport Bossier for the love and care they gave to Boo Boo. The family extends a special hug of love and gratitude to Francis Mitchell for giving our Boo the best companionship and daily care that anyone could have received
