She was born April 16, 1915, in Hurley, daughter of the late Angelo and Barbara (Bertolini) Bott. She resided in Saxon until 1956, and since 1956, she had resided in Hurley.
Elizabeth was a former member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Saxon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lawrence Bourdages in 1951; her second husband, Leo Marchant, in 1959; daughter Arlene Kelly; brothers Frank, Louie, Joe, John and Comello Bott; and sister Louise.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Heinzen of Silver Bay, Marlene Gritzmacher of Beaver Dam, Wis, Nancy (Bill) Ruby of Ironwood, Diana Haglund of Duluth, Bonnie Udd of Ironwood and Linda Marchant of Superior; her son, Robert (Caroline) Marchant of Iron Mountain; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place in the Range Crematory in Hurley.
FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS: 1 until the 2 p.m. memorial service Monday, Oct. 4, in the Ketola-Burla Funeral Home in Ironwood. Elizabeth's granddaughter, Kim (Merchant) Johnson, officiating. Interment at Saxon Cemetery. Arrangements are by Range Funeral Service and Crematory, Ketola-Burla Funeral Home in Ironwood.
