49 year old Jason Bain of Liberty passed away Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a Baptist and a mechanic. The funeral service will be Monday, August 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bain-Thomas Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. Bain was preceded in death by his parents, J.E. Bain and Mary Shehane and two sisters, Tina and Peggy Frances Bain. He is survived by seven children, Michael Bain of Alexandria, Candace and Jazmine Bain both of Indiana, Mindy Bain of Chestnut Mound, Jaylon Bain of Smithvillle, and Jozlyn and Vega Bain both of Liberty. Eight grandchildren. Two sisters, Peggy and Tommy Hensley of Sparta and Melinda Griffith of Alexandria. Five brothers, Jerry Bain of Temperance Hall, Larry Bain of Smithville, David "Cotton" and Priscilla Bain of Smithville, Jimmy Bain of Smithville, and Johnny and Kristy Bain of Lancaster. Fiance, Christina Murphy of Liberty. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be made to the funeral home to help with burial expenses
