Committal and interment services followed at Fairview Cemetery in Talala. Serving as casket bearers were Danny Corlett, Shane Battenfield, Isaac Doshier, Daniel Corlett, Cory Highsmith and Bracken Shue. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.


Ronnie was born April 28, 1948 to Gene and Josephine (Schmidtberger) Shue in Tulsa. He died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007.


He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School while living with his family in California. He earned a bachelor's degree in both business and economics at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, where he was a member of Phi Lambda Chi Fraternity. He spent most of his working life as a sales representative with J.D. Young Company. More recently, he worked with First Bank of Owasso in business development.


Ronnie was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Akdar-Shrine. He faithfully attended Living Word Family Church in Nowata. He had been a school board member with Oologah-Talala Public Schools and had served as president. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including fishing, working in the yard and gardening.


Survivors include his wife, Inger of the home; four children, Bethany Shue of Asheville, N.C., Bonnie Shue of Fletcher, N.C., Bracken Douglas Shue of Nowata and Sidney Noble of the home; two grandchildren, Austin Redmon and Greenlee Taylor; one sister, Beverly Corlett and husband, Danny, of Talala; two nieces, Aimee and Sarah; three nephews, Shane, Isaac and Daniel; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Living Word Family Church food pantry, P.O. Box 762, Nowata, Okla., 74048.
