SARANAC LAKE June F. Begor, 61, of McMaster Road died Tuesday, March 30, 1993, at the home of her daughter in Lake Clear.
Born Nov. 6, 1931 in Vermontville, she was the daughter of Leander and Minnie (Patnode) Begor.
A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member,founder, past board president and current boardmember of the New Hope Pentacostal Church in Lake Placid. She enjoyed crocheting and was a former coach of the Saranac Lake Patty and Lake Clear Larry Doyle baseball leagues.
Survivors include four daughters; Belinda Lopez of Lake Placid, Nora Donaldson of Lake Clear, Joanie Gillette of Saranac Lake and Pauline Gillette of Cape Cod, Mass.; two sons, John Gillette of Tupper Lake and Marvin Meyer of Bloomingdale; two brothers, Marvin Begor and Raymond Begor of Vermontville; three sisters,Mildred Brown of Upper St. Regis Falls, Doris Stickney of Bloomingdale and Cynthia Oliver of Gabriels; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Dennis.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Stanley of the North Country Christian Center and Pastor Richard Ducatt of the
New Hope Pentacostal Church officiating. Interment will be in Brighton Cemetery in May.
