A native of Columbus County he was son to the late Daniel Franklin & Ada Skipper Prince.
He worked for Whitley's Furniture Gallery. He loved his family and they were his life. He was preceded in death by siblings, Pauline Anderson, Herman Prince, Elmore Prince, Weldon Prince, & Ernest Prince.
He is survived by his son, David Prince (Sherry) of Franklinton, daughters, Barbara P. Haire (Terry) of Raleigh, Brenda P. Lambert (Ricky) of Zebulon, and Mildred Ramsey of Benson, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
Flowers or memorial contributions to Transitions Life Care Hospice.
Funeral service 7 pm, Sunday, East Wake Church of God with visitation to follow the service. Burial, 11 am, Monday, Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
