Alice (Martin) Attlesey was the daughter of Robert Martin, a farmer & Sarah (Allen) Martin, both of whom were born & died in Soham, Cambridgeshire, England.
Alice married William Attlesey in Soham on 25 Dec 1839. They had 7 children (their first born died) and they migrated with their 6 remaining children on SS Victoria from London, England to New York, New York on 14 May 1852.
Both William & Alice died almost on arrival. William contracted small pox and Alice dysentery. Alice died 27 May 1852. William died four days later.
Alice was buried in her sister, Sarah Martin Lusk Binger's plot at GreenWood Cemetery.
