Professional baseball player. He played the outfield for several baseball organizations beginning in 1896 for the Louisville Colonels. Two years later, he was with the Cincinnati Reds. In 1901, he was a member of the American League pennant winning Chicago White Sox in their inaugural season. The following season, after only seven games, he was purchased by Baltimore Orioles under John McGraw. His last season was as a member of the New York Highlanders. Over his five seasons, he batted .266 with 13 home runs and 167 runs batted in.
