Oder Mae Potter, the youngest of eleven children of Watt and Ellen Beers, was born on August 14, 1902 near Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas. She married Thomas Luther Allumbaugh, the son of Stephen Strickland Allumbaugh and May Bell Cox of Riley, Dallas County, Texas, on October 12 1920.
Thomas and Oder had two children.
In 1972 Oder Mae lived at 1309 Hickory Tree Road in Mesquite, Texas 75149 on land her father Watt Potter had inherited from his parents, Absalom Potter and Lydia (Marks) Badgley.
