Logansport -- Clearburn [Cleaburne] C Mayfield, 78, died Friday in Summer Grove.
Fner services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bethel Methodist Church with the Rev. J. R. Funderburk officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Jack Freeman [Maudean] of Shreveport and Mrs. Marcus Mohamed [Melba] of Houston, Tex.; two sons, C. E. Mayfield of Shreveport and N. W. Mayfield of Los Angeles, Calif., two half brothers, Jess Mayfield of Conroe, Tex. and Jack Mayfield of Dallas, Tex., four half sisters Mrs. Effis [Evie] Phillips of Shreveport , Mrs. Lydia Bogue of Elysian Fields, Mrs. Viola Davis of Shreveport and Mrs. Alice Barnette of DuBarry [DeBerry], Tex. [sic].
