REIDSVILLE Danny Edward Graves, 26, of 2303 Westover Drive, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at the Annie Penn Hospital, following a brief period of illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday from the Smyrna Church of Christ, 1025 Mizpah Church Road, with Elder William Moore and Elder Paul Graves presiding. Interment will follow in the family plot of Greenview Cemetery.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County. Mr. Graves was a faithful member of Grace Tabernacle Holiness Church and was a gifted music composer.
Survivors are one daughter, Shaquille Madison of Eden; beloved mother and step-father, Lillie Mae Nelson and David Nelson of the home; one sister, Vertie Moore and spouse, William, of Reidsville; one step-sister, Mezetta Neal of Washington, D.C.; four brothers, William Graves and spouse, Sandra, of Greensboro, Elder Paul Graves of Reidsville, Jordan and Chance Nelson of the home; two step-brothers, David Graves and spouse, Linda and Ernest Graves of Reidsville; special friend, Dedra McCurdy of Reidsville; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and a multitude of treasured friends.
The family visitation will be from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Funeral arrangements are by Johnson & Sons.
