Judy Kay Clendenin Hudson, 67, of Cottageville, WV, passed away suddenly October 3, 2013, at her home. She was born December 24, 1945, in Kenna, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph and Yula (Staats) Clendenin. Her brothers, Robert, Albert Dale, and James William Clendenin and sisters, Lenora Perry and Dixie Gail Starcher, also preceded her in death. She was a 1963 graduate of Ripley High School and was a personal caregiver. She attended the United in Christ Church, Cottageville, and was very involved with church activities.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Joseph and Lindsay Hudson of Danville; grandchildren, Katherine Hudson and Laura Hudson, both of Fairplain; and sisters, Betty Clendenin of Ripley, and Glendora McVey of El Paso, Texas. Funeral services will be 4 p. m. Sunday, October 6, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, WV, with Pastor Kevin Jennings and the Rev. Leonard Kessel officiating. Burial will follow in Fairplain Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to time of service at the funeral home. Email condolences may be sent to [email protected].
