Jeanette Ann (Jordan) Collins, beloved Sister, Cousin, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, age 76, passed from this life on August 21, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Alvin Jordan and Mary Ellen (Davis) Jordan McKeone; her husband Lee Rogers Collins; her daughter Janet Patience Notter; her brother-in-law Wayne Bayard; and step-granddaughter Robyn Knight.
She is survived by her sister Kay (Jordan) Bayard, her sons Robert Notter, Frank Collins, and Timothy Collins; daughter Leenette (Collins) Wells; stepson Stephen Collins; stepdaughters Sandra Collins and Diana Lynn (Collins) Ramirez; daughter-in-law Janet (Jackson) Collins; son-in-law Robert Wells; and stepdaughter-in-law Cindy (Creekmore) Collins. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The loss the family feels is immeasurable.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lakeshore Memorial Services; 11939 James Street, Holland MI 49424. Burial will be next to her husband Lee at Fort Custer National Cemetery; 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta MI 49012. The committal proceedings will begin at the cemetery at 2:00 PM.
