Mr. James M. Dunsmore, 78, a prominent citizen of the northwestern part of the county, died at his home near Ansel after an illness of more than a year. Mr. Dunsmore was a former member of the Pulaski Fiscal Court, and had taken an active part in community affairs as long as his health permitted. He was a dependable and useful citizen and will be greatly missed. Funeral services were to be held today at Mt. Zion with burial following in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Surviving are his wife and a son, Alfred Dunsmore. Sympathy is extended members of the family in their bereavement.

Several from here attended the funeral of Mr. J.M. Dunsmore of Wheeldon at Mt. Zion last Wednesday. He was well known here as he was the postmaster and our merchant here at Hogue several years ago. He was born March 26, 1860. Besides his widow he leaves one son, Mr. Alfred Dunsmore and one daughter, Mrs. Flonnie Roberts, of Wheeldon, and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Willie Wilson, of Wheeldon. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Stanley Waters and burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery Wednesday.
