CASANOVA, Joseph Edward age 81, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County. He was born July 10, 1933 in Longview, WA to John and Mary Casanova. He served our country during the Korean War in the US Air Force with an honorable discharge. He was an Industrial Engineer for Aeronca for 26 years, retiring in 1996. Joseph was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America and the Junior Achievement Program in Middletown. Joseph is survived by his sons, Kevin (Susie) Casanova of Middletown and Jonathan (Brenda) Casanova of Mission, TX; daughter, Kristie Casanova of Delaware, OH; grandchildren, Anika, Ronan, Benen, Leila and Bella. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leonard and sister, Marie. Visitation will be held Monday, August 25, 2014 from 9:30-11:30 am at Baker- Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Dayton National Cemetery at 1:00 pm with military honors by the Franklin V.F.W Honor Guard.
