Note: I know, based on the old calendar and the date on the headstone, that John died in 1717. However, most of the probated records show the dual date 1717/8 (Will dated 9 Nov 1715; Inventory taken 25 Feb 1717/8; Proved 20 Mar 1717/8; Recorded 27 Mar 1718). I think is would be helpful to researchers to have a comment addressing this in his bio. In addition, it would be greatly appreciated if you would add the following to his bio, too; Married (2) Priscilla [Southworth] Talbot, widow of Samuel Talbot, on 1 May 1708 in Little Compton, Newport County, RI. Thank you, in advance, for consideration of my request. Contributor: Linne/Velcro (47336803)∼JOHN, 2nd known child of John & Elizabeth Irish, was born say 1647. He married (1) by about 1672 Elizabeth _____ (said to be Savory). He married (2) 1 May 1708 Priscilla (Southworth) Talbot, daughter of Edward Southworth and widow of Samuel Talbot.
