Troy Dayton Chandler, 58, of 3804 Ethel died in a local hospital Sunday morning. Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Connally-Compton Downtown Chapel, Rev. Walter Rose and Rev. Doyle Lawless officiating. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park.
Mr. Chandler was born in Hill County and lived in Waco for the last 31 years. He was a nurses aide at Waco VA Hospital, a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He attended school in Mount Calm and was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rheta Faye Chandler; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Horn and Mrs. Lorene Mahan, both of Waco; two brothers, Ray Chandler of Waco and J. C. Chandler of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.
