Angela Marie Horton, 28, of 2165 A. Milledge Ave., died Wednesday, March 25, 1998. A native of Jackson County, Miss Horton was a daughter of James H. & Lorene Powell Horton of Athens & fiancee of Gregory Paul Dickson. She was a 1987 graduate of Clarke Central High School & graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in audiology in 1991 & a master's degree in audiology in 1993. She was an audiologist at Georgia Hearing Center for five years & a member of First Baptist Church of Athens.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Athens with the Rev. Jon Appleton officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors, in addition to her parents & fiancee, include a sister, Cathy Anne Horton, Athens; & a grandmother, Marie Powell,
Watkinsville. Pallbearers will be Chris Carter, Scott Branch, Todd Kinman, Tony Powell, Eddie Powell & Billy Horton. Party members for the wedding, which was planned for April 25, 1998, will be honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Bernstein Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Athens, 355 Pulaski St., Athens, Ga. 30601.
