My beautiful wife, best friend, supporter and wonderful mother, Kay Harris, 75, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born March 30, 1939 in Pipestone, Minnesota, a daughter of George and Phern Francis. She loved telling stories about the wonderful times that she spent at her grandparent’s farm while she was growing up. After graduation from Box Elder High School, she attended Weber State College. She has lived in Brigham City, Clinton, Ogden and West Haven.

Kay spent 33 wonderful years with her husband, Gregory Harris.

She retired from Elkay West after 26 years, where she started as the Office Manager and worked her way up to Human Resource Manager.

Kay was a member of the Methodist church.

She enjoyed gardening, coaching softball, bowling and traveling.

Kay is survived by her husband, Gregory; three sons, Mike (MeLanie) Bowcutt, Clearfield; Shayne (Katrice) Harris, Ryan (Natatlie) Harris; three daughters, Carol (Bob) Clark, Virgin, UT; Sherry Kramer, Hurricane, UT; Michelle (Jeff) Davis, Oregon; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Greg Francis. She was preceded in death by her parents.
