Mrs. Taylor, 88 Dies at Decatur

Mrs. Mattie Mann Taylor, 88, of New Hope, died at the Decatur Rest Home at 6 o'clock this morning.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at New Hope Methodist Church.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roy Walker of New Hope, and three sons: C.O. Mann of New Hope, Dewey T. Mann of Gadsden, and Robert A. Mann of Chattanooga. Also surviving are four sisters: Mrs. W.D. Hornbuckle of Nashville, Mrs. Leroy Hartwell of Norris City, Illinois, Mrs. Gordon Hunt of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. May Gustafson of Los Angeles, Calif; and three brothers, Roy, Elbert, and Charlie Hornbuckle. There are 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in New Hope, Alabama.
